Most organizations working in complex environments have a mission. What they often lack is the infrastructure, the cultural fluency, and the strategic clarity to make it last.

They are navigating political landscapes they do not fully understand. They are communicating across cultural divides with tools that were not built for the communities they serve. They are building programs and teams without the operational systems that would allow the work to scale — or survive a leadership transition, a funding shift, or a crisis.

That is where I come in.

WHO I AM

I am Gabby Rendon — a political risk analyst, growth strategist, and organizational consultant with over 20 years of field experience across Latin America and the United States.

My work sits at the intersection of three disciplines that most advisors treat as separate: understanding risk, communicating across cultures, and building the operational infrastructure that holds an organization together under pressure.

I work with mission-driven organizations that need all three — and need them integrated, not siloed.

I have analyzed political risk at the US Embassy in Mexico City, produced strategic intelligence reports for energy sector clients operating in Central America, Spain, and the US. Built a community organization from zero to a 150-person volunteer operation while raising $190,000 in five months, and spent two decades helping leaders move from clarity to deliberate action — in English and in Spanish.

For over a decade, I have been observing, up close, how the presence or absence of economic infrastructure — particularly for women — shapes whether communities stabilize or fracture. That systems-level lens is not background. It is the foundation of how I approach every engagement.

I have seen what happens when organizations get the risk wrong, when communications miss the community, and when good programs collapse because no one built the infrastructure to hold them.

I work the way I do because I have seen what the alternative costs.

Research

Alongside my consulting work, I write and research at the intersection of women’s economic agency, community resilience, and political risk. My current focus is the role of women’s entrepreneurship as a protective factor against youth radicalization in underserved communities — a question I have been living professionally with for years before putting it on paper. That work lives at Numancia, my public research journal on Substack.

If your organization is navigating complexity and you are looking for a strategic partner who can work across languages, landscapes, and organizational systems, I would be glad to start a conversation.
